Choose 4 words to describe one of the characters from the story, Flying Solo. Based on these words, what type of person is he/she in your opinion? Would you be friends with him or her? Why or why not?
I chose Karen the four words that describe her are she is Bold,responsible,and optimistic. I think Karen is a responsible person because she tries to keep the class in control through out the day. I would be friends with her because she is very generous and she would not let me down.
I think Rachel is wise, thoughtful, unsocial, and friendly. So I think Rachel is very quiet but would be a nice person to have around. I would have her as my friend because she would always be there for me and she would think up ways to help me get over problems. The only problem is that for her to talk to me is to write it on paper.
I think Sean is emotionally strong because he doesn't let his abusement from his father get to him, I think Sean is realy lonely because of his family, he is kind of in his own world because he does not really socialize with anbody. I also think he is bold because of his father. I think Sean would be a good friend because of how he just needs help and a friend.
I chose to describe Bastian. I think Bastian is mischievous, unhappy, stubborn, and daring. In my opinion, Bastian is mischievous because he walks right out of school when there is no teacher and goes to his friends house. Also, he is he sad that his dog has to be in quarantine for four months when the move to Hawaii and he will miss his best friend, John. Bastian is stubborn because he stands his ground when kids tell him to be quiet and he uses sarcasm. His is brave to move far away and also to just walk out of the school. I probably would not be friends with Bastian because he teases a lot and he is not always very nice to people.
I think sky is a little unsociable,inspireing,thoughtful and resiliant because he had a huge scrach that was gushing blood. I think sky is obiedent because what ever the class mates told him to do he did. I would like to be friends with him because he's kind and loyal.
I think Rachel is unsocial because Tommy Feathers died, and she thinks she has to remain silent. Rachel is also determined to remain silent and not tell the secret of no teacher watching their class. Rachel is important because she comes up with a lot of ideas. She is a rule avider because she follows the rules. I think Rachel is an attention drawer. I would be her friend because it good to meet new people.
I think Sean is kind,mentally strong,friendly,and responsible.I would be friends with him becuase he is noy bossy and really has no friends to hang out with.I think that Sean is a good person even though his dad is a drunk.

Tommy, one of the characters in Flying Solo, is loyal, generous, considerate, and persistent. I would be Tommy's friend if I met him not only because there is nothing negative about him but also that everything about him is profoundly positive.

Being her friend might would be difficult because she is so bossy. On the other hand,it might would be good to be her friend since she is confident!

My next word is outgoing because if she was shy then she would never be able to lead a classroom. My last word is clever because she found ways to get out of enrichment classes.
